Partnering with Local Councils and Youth Services…

PSALMS Ministers work with a number of secular youth clubs to support their youth provision in a non-proselytising fashion. This allows local groups to take advantage of PSALMS skills and passion in promoting positive values. Such partnerships help young people to experience positive growth academically, physically and, where appropriate, spiritually.

Stonehouse Youth Partnership (SHYP)- PSALMS are involved with SHYP as they together oversee the provisions for young people in the Stonehouse area and work with the Town Council on projects; currently involved in the Skatepark 4 Stonehouse (SPL4SH) and the Youth Building project.

Stonehouse Action 4 Youth (SA4Y)- PSALMS are involved in running this youth forum along with Stroud District Council Youth Participation. The forum offers young people the opportunity to have their say and express their views on how things can be run, developed and improved in the local area.

Young Gloucestershire (YG)- PSALMS are affiliated with YG and through this they offer us access to training, advice and support and in return we remain in contact with YG and share relevant and necessary information with them.
