Part of a growing team…
PSALMS volunteers make our work happen. All our clubs and activities are facilitated with the help of wonderful people who give up their time to help in all sorts of ways. Being a PSALMS volunteer gives you the chance to come alongside children and young people, getting to know them as you have a laugh, build a community and perhaps share your passion for sport, music, drama or craft. And if that sounds a bit scary, we need plenty of help with “behind the scenes” stuff too!
You don’t need any special skills or experience to volunteer for PSALMS – just a willing heart. You will be part of a team with a PSALMS Strategic Minister at the helm. You will also benefit from regular PSALMS volunteer training events to equip you in serving the young people. PSALMS volunteers, where necessary, are DBS checked and trained in child protection and health and safety. We can also provide free training in areas such as first aid where it supports you role.
